[Madoka is sitting on her bed in her pyjamas. Her hair's loose, her knees are drawn up to her chest and her arms are wrapped around them. She doesn't look happy. Not at all. It's a little too dark to see her face properly, so you can't tell if she's been crying or not, but when she speaks, she sounds as if she might have just finished.]

... Hello there, everyone. Can I... um, is it okay if I ask everyone a favour? Could someone talk to me, please? I-I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight...

How did you meet them?

Mami-san was my senpai in school. Kyoko-san had just moved here and Sa-- the others were my classmates.

How did you become friends?

Mami-san helped me out of trouble about a month ago, and we became really good friends after that. I, um, I guess that, well, you could say she became my mentor a little. She helped me out a lot. Kyoko-chan was homeless, I think. A-at least, she never mentioned her parents. And when we met... hehe, actually, she tried to antagonise us for a little while. But she was a good person deep down. We became friends after a little while.
