None of that really made any sense to me, but those are good things, right?

Okay... please try not to spread this around too much, because I'm not sure how some people on my world might react if they found out everything all of a sudden. But well, basically, on my world there are there monsters we call witches. They feed off people's despair by causing fights, murders, suicides... other horrible things like that. Most people don't even know they exist, but there's girls around my age who are given powers to fight them. A little like magical girl anime, I guess. But... well, the problem is that sooner or later, all those girls will turn into witches themselves, if they don't die first while they're fighting. I didn't even know any of this until near the end of last month.

Anyway... there's another girl who keeps rewinding time on my world. I think it's because she's trying to save me from something horrible to do with the witches, but I don't really know what it is because I can't remember any of the other timelines. But... mm, whatever it is, I don't think what she's doing is working. So I'm trying to come up with a different way to solve it, and... well, here we are, I guess.

While he can be squirrely about what he does, I think you'd probably be able to relate, even if you can't escape your fate yet.

Though, the difference between us would be that really, it would probably be better if I didn't make a wish at all in my case. But that's more difficult than it sounds.

He's getting pretty screwed over as well, and he could use someone to relate to. He could do that. It might help considering certain events keep happening, like Shinji Kido becoming Kamen Rider Ryuki in every scenario. And probably not, Tsukasa would need his Complete powers to even stand a chance of winning. If that.

Oh, I do have a question, actually. What is a Rider?

A Rider, hmm... an armored hero, male or female who does battle against monsters, evil corporations, the whole nine yards. In short, Japan's longest hero group in our worlds. You could say we're like magical girls, but we often take our powers from the evil groups and use it for good. Like Den-O using the power of Imagin, or W using the power of Gaia Memories.

Oh, wow! That's really impressive! Especially using the power of the evil groups for good... I don't think that's what most people would expect a lot of the time.

That's what Riders were. It used to be that a Rider was born from kidnapping someone of inordinately strong will, and then being modified into a cyborg. Nowadays Riders can be born in almost any different methods. And yes, most people wouldn't expect us to be using the power of evil for good.

That's so different to anything I've heard of before... all of it, really. So they don't kidnap people anymore?

Well, depends on which origin you go with. There hasn't been any major groups kidnapping and modifying people into cyborg humans, that's an old Shocker thing to do.

The most recent Rider uses the power of over infinity generated by human desire to fight against beings created from limitless greed.

I'm glad about that, at least.

So... he basically uses something that's both the same and somehow the opposite at the same time?

That's right. OOO uses the power of greed and desire to fight, and protect those who can't protect themselves.
