Oh, well, it's not so bad for me! I mean, of course it's never really alright. And I get really scared a lot. But at least I get to forget about all the terrible things that happen.

... but well, you're right. I don't want my world to be stuck doing this anymore, and I don't want Homura-chan to keep rewinding time for the rest of her life just for my sake. Especially when I'm not sure if that's going to be enough anymore, but. I'm really, really grateful that you want to help, Tsubomi-chan. Really, I am! That makes me really happy.

Okay, thank you. And um, actually, I haven't even made a contract yet. But I know that there's people who are going to try their best to make me do it, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to avoid it.

Basically... on my world magical girls are real. It's different to how it is in anime, though. Puella Magi get their powers by making a contract with the Incubators. You can make any wish you want, and in exchange you have to fight monsters called witches. Only, what they don't tell anyone is that sooner or later, all Puella Magi turn into witches in the end.

... according to another Puella Magi I met the other day, if I contracted I'd eventually become the most horribly powerful witch ever. So I was wondering if there could be a way to outsmart the Incubator and find a loophole of some kind if I ever got into a situation where I didn't have any choice except to make a wish.

Wait, I got an idea! In my world, there's the Great Heart Tree. Another Cure from my time and I have been trying to heal it and from what I understand, after collecting enough what are called "Heart Seeds", a miracle would happen! One already occurred, so we still have to collect more for another! Maybe that'll help!

I really don't want to argue with you. You're my senpai, and you're a wonderful teacher, and I know you're just saying all of this because you're my friend and you care about me. But I think you're wrong about Oriko-san and Homura-chan. I don't think they wouldn't have bothered to single out someone like me if it wasn't important somehow.

She would stop me on principle. All Puella Magi are essentially rivals over the Grief Seeds... she'd think I was trying to keep you from contracting just to keep out the competition.

She honestly thinks the contract is a good thing. It's as if she just doesn't think.

And... forgive me for saying it, but you, if uninformed, would always listen to her judgement over mine. It is the same as with Miss Akemi.

That's what Riders were. It used to be that a Rider was born from kidnapping someone of inordinately strong will, and then being modified into a cyborg. Nowadays Riders can be born in almost any different methods. And yes, most people wouldn't expect us to be using the power of evil for good.
